The 18th CPC Congress
Editor's note: The 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Congress is going to take place in Beijing in October, 2012. The 18th Party Congress is considered by many as one of the most crucial political events in its almost a century-long revolutionary history since their first progressive political activities began sometime in early 1920s. Notably the whole world is also at a crucial historical juncture facing a huge set of unprecedented challenges, troubles and uncertainties at the moment. The 4th Media, in that regard, by creating this "China Special" section, sincerely invites people from around the world who genuinely wish a better future of the whole world which now can't be imagined without a better future of China, the world's most-populous and at the moment the world's most-vibrant economic power. We'd like to encourage people present and share their genuine views, perspectives, thoughts and wishes in regard to the upcoming 18th Party Congress not only for the sake of China but also for the world's future as well. The 4th Media would honor and respect peoples' analytical views, suggestions, ideas and even their critiques as long as they are genuinely constructive and future-oriented. However, any ideologically-tainted and ill-willed reproaches, flak, or any other stereotypical "anti-communist" attacks won't be honored and accepted.

The United States’ ability to maintain its influence over the rest of the world has been slowly diminishing. Since the petrodollar was established in 1971, U.S. currency has monopolized international trade through oil deals with the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and continuous military interventions. There is, however, growing opposition to the American […]

The crooks who run the Western financial system set up the gold market in a way that lets them control the price. Gold is not priced in the physical gold market where bullion is bought and sold. Gold is priced in a futures market where uncovered contracts that are settled in cash are bought and […]

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-northkorea-missiles-engine-idUSKBN19D2RC North Korea has carried out another test of a rocket engine that the United States believes could be part of its program to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile, a U.S. official told Reuters on Thursday. The United States assessed that the test, the latest in a series of engine and missile tests this year, […]

Otto and the Warmbier family are victims not of the North Koreans but of American officialdom, which failed to intervene on his behalf and, if the unpleasant truth be told, wanted him silenced. … The gaping holes in the story of Otto Warmbier, the American university student who suffered a severe brain disordered while imprisoned in North Korea, are a source of public puzzlement since it seems utterly irrational for a tourist to be imprisoned for theft of a mere banner from a tourist hotel wall. The actual issues behind his arrest have been covered over by the Western media and a matter of silent confusion on the Korean Peninsula. The undercover role of this ambitious recent college graduate has been swept under the rug, a routine response of denial from the manifold nexus of U.S. intelligence agencies and a Zionist-influenced Treasury Department.

The last thirty days have shown another kind of world that is engaging in cooperation, dialogue and diplomatic efforts to resolve important issues. The meeting of the members of the Belt and Road Initiative laid the foundations for a physical and electronic connectivity among Eurasian countries, making it the backbone of sustainable and renewable trade development based on mutual cooperation. A few weeks later, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting in Astana outlined the necessary conditions for the success of the Chinese project, such as securing large areas of the Eurasian block and improving dialogue and trust among member states. The following AIIB (Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank) meeting in ROK will layout the economical necessities to finance and sustain the BRI projects.

In a Showtime interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin by American film-maker Oliver Stone, which started airing on June 12th, Putin called «lies» many of the allegations by U.S. intelligence agencies, to the effect that he or his government attempted to influence the outcome of the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. He also accused the U.S. […]

There’s little chance that you could come across a geopolitical analyst these days who would disagree that a “behind-the-scenes power” is driving the worsening geopolitical situation, with Qatar becoming a primary target for all of its former allies. We’ve also seen a new terrorist attack in London, Therese May losing popular support and then the […]

Terrorism supporters in Washington and Riyadh close ranks against Qatar The United States has been using lies to go to war since 1846, when Americans who believed in manifest destiny sought to expand to the Pacific Ocean at the expense of Mexico, acquiring by force of arms California and what were to become the southwestern […]

Qatar chaos sends ripples of economic anxiety across the region China’s cardinal foreign policy imperative is to refrain from interfering abroad while advancing the proverbial good relations with key political actors – even when they may be at each other’s throats. Still, it’s nothing but gut-wrenching for Beijing to watch the current, unpredictable, Saudi-Qatari standoff. […]

In a climate of outright confrontation, even the Gulf monarchies have been overtaken by a series of unprecedented events. The differences between Qatar on one side, and Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain on the other, have escalated into a full-blown diplomatic crisis with outcomes difficult to foresee. Officially, everything started with statements made by Qatari emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that appeared on the Qatar News Agency (QNA) on May 23, 2017. A few hours before the conference between the 50 Arab countries and the US President, Al Thani was reported to have said the same words that appeared on QNA.

In the process of strengthening its influence, China is developing cooperation with its neighbors, seeking to bind all the small states in the surrounding region to itself economically. Chief among these smaller states are the ASEAN member countries. To achieve economic integration with these countries and ensure its continued presence in them, China is setting […]

The military/security complex spent seven decades building its empire. The complex assassinated one American president (JFK) who threatened the empire and drove another (Richard Nixon) out of office. The complex does not tolerate the election of politicians in Europe who might not follow Washington’s line on foreign and economic policy. Suddenly, according to the Western […]

[Reposted from the Moscow-based Strategic Culture Foundation site: https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/06/05/kim-jong-un-isnt-crazy-and-china-doesnt-have-solution.html] Admittedly no one should expect linear thinking from President Donald Trump. Still, it was a bit jarring to hear him go from calling North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un a “pretty smart cookie” and “gentleman” who the president would be “honored” to meet to a “madman with […]

Imperialism is worried that China’s huge global infrastructure projects could challenge the U.S.-led world order The People’s Republic of China hosted a summit May 14 called the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, also known as the New Silk Road project. Twenty-nine heads of state and representatives of 130 countries attended from across Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Seventy countries signed agreements with China to participate. The “Belt” refers to the Silk Road Economic Belt. It encompasses land route development from central China to Central Asia, Iran, Turkey and Eastern Europe. The “Road” refers to the Maritime Silk Road. This involves ports and coastal infrastructure from Southeast Asia to East Africa and the Mediterranean.

In a series of articles posted on www.paulcraigroberts.org, we have proven to our satisfaction that the prices of gold and silver are manipulated by the bullion banks acting as agents for the Federal Reserve. The bullion prices are manipulated down in order to protect the value of the US dollar from the extraordinary increase in […]
